I'm considering purchasing a 18 volt cordless dill and impact driver . . . any opinions/experience on what is good, bad or just plain ugly.
At this point in my life I don't need the top end stuff since I'm not a contractor . . . but I would like something that will hold up long term and be a little more rugged than my very tired 12 volt Black and Decker cordless drill.
I've looked at Dewalt, Makita, Bosch and Milwaukee . . . right now I'm leaning pretty heavily towards Dewalt and the white-and-gray Makita . . . but I'm open to other suggestions . . . mostly doing light carpentry work.
