I have owned this stove since new, about 8 years. Summer of 2024 we did an addition/renovation on our house and had to remove it. It is a great stove but has always thrown a bit too much heat for our 1000 sqft house. Now that he have an extra 800 sqft I am really excited to see how it performs. It sat in our container for the last year and a half and got a little bit of surface rust. Also the left refractory board was broken and evidently one of the back ones broke while transporting it back to the house. Then I broke the bottom off the right one. So I have decided to remove and replace all of the interior boards. In the meantime do a good cleaning. Put a new door gasket on it and finally paint it. I need to do a better inspection but I did find a small hairline crack (3 or 4 mm long) in the top corner of the stove where the door closes. Is that ok? Is there anything else I should look at or do while I am refurbishing this thing?
