So maybe I was just late to the party but these things are awesome. Cheap compared to purchased kcups, and of course no plastic cup waste. This is one of those green success stories where a solution is discovered that is both economically and environmentally superior.

I buy lbs of preground fancy coffee and fill my airtight container with it, stored in darkness. Previously I was a drip coffee guy with a metal mesh filter and this method makes less mud in my cup.

I reuse my K cups..... just peel back the foil and wash out...I have caps I bought off ebay, so I just refill the with my favorite fresh ground coffee, snap on the cap and make another cup.....I get between 6 and 10 refills before the filter in the K cup lets go.

I have tried many types of caps and refillable cups...these are the best:

(broken link removed to http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coffee-Caps-Reuse-And-Refill-The-Keurig-K-Cup-packs-Now-works-with-2-0-brewers-/120904860819?hash=item1c267dc493:m:m7f_LIjFnzsQSYYU1A2eIYg)

Yowzers, 18$ plus shipping for 10 of those caps. Do the caps last forever? If so, why would you need a 10-pack?

I use same ones highbeam! They have a nice hinge and dont break over time.
