Running the stove in the summer???

Never done that. If your stove is new,then you will want to burn the coating that is on the stove. You will smell it when you do your first burn. I guess now is fine,if you don't mind the heat.
 
Sometimes I'll use an extended period of high humidity during the summer as an excuse to fire up the stove for 30 minutes or so...
 
This crappy summer i have had mine on often in the evenings due to it being in the upper 30's and low 40's and RAIN rain rain.... You can us the stove whenever you like to.
