Can a pellet boiler be run off the same circuit as the existing oil boiler? There's an emergency shutoff switch for the oil boiler at the top of the stairs. If a new circuit is run, that would that entail another emergency shutoff?
Some thoughts: They don't consume hugh amounts of power (though I should find out how much), they won't in all liklihood be operating at the same time, the distribution pumps would continue to be powered from the oil boiler (I imagine), two emergency shutoffs might be confusing. That does bring up a point though: the fact that that the oil boiler circuit would have to be on to power the circulators.
