La Crete Softwood listed as $485.00 per Metric Ton (60 bags)
Paid $479 ea (early bird discount) for 3 with a $35 delivery charge and a 3 week wait for delivery.
It was between this and Wood and Sons for $430/Ton (50 bags) same delivery fee but all of their current stock was spoken for with no concrete estimate on when the next round would be available.
They also have
Maine Woods Pellets $399/Ton (50 bags)
New England Hardwood $399/Ton (50 bags)

Have you ever had a chance to compare the La Crete's with Wood and Sons?

yes, A few years ago La Crete changed their formula and their ash/fines went up some %. Prior to that they were THE best.
Wood and Sons is marginally better, but I found their pellets to be very small on average vs La Crete. A lot of dust and fines, but maybe that was just that year/shipment. We had 3 tons and all the bags were like that.
I can't say there's a huge difference. I'm happy with either.
They're both much better than any of the generic green supreme etc pellets from Home Depot/Tractor Supply
I think my stove air flow for combustion was off last season so I can't 100% evaluate last years pellets.
I like that La Crete comes 60 bags to a pallet. The extra 10 bags per pallet save me from having to buy a 4th pallet...
