Has anyone shut there boiler down for a week or so.
I will be going on vacation for 2 weeks and have been thinking about shutting it down while away, I don't run glycol in it , but I can keep the water circulating so it should not freeze up.
Any thoughts on this !!

I shut mine off all the time but it's indoors. >>

What kind of boiler? Does it have return protection? Where is it located? What kind of heat exchanger do you have in your house?
