Open up the side of that stove and see if you have a leak on the other side of your goop and taping closer to the combustion blower.

I actual did that too i didn't see anything leaking from the inside i did check both sides and it didn't seem to be from the inside that i could tell at least.

Stove adapter.. Needs removed and re-gooped. The way they are designed and put on, just putting it on over whats there, wont work. Remove and re-goop

Ok now do i just get a pair of pliers the ones they use to remove oil filters? i cant get the vent off for the life of me.. i try moving the stove back and forth bit but seems like its moving all the pipes don't want to do anymore damage.

Here is what I use. Or a stamdard oil filter wrench when working where you can slide it over the pipe (outside normally).

Okay so here's what to try next, take a ultity knife and cut around the silcone you put on, (remove alum tape first). Then pull stove out about 1-2" and work the pipe off the back of the stove. Then run a thick bead around the male pipe that is sticking out from the stove, allow this bead to setup for a bit and then slide stove back onto the pipe, try to get the bead of silcone closest to the end of the male end, after sliding stove back over the bead, and pipe reseal with your wet finger and don't be shy with the silcone, don't tape and allow silcone to setup for a hour or so, restart stove and apply more silcone around adapter if it is still leaking, then tape it up if all is well.

Yep.... Lots of Goop as stated above. Be generous with it. Followed by tape and do every joint.

If you are to rough with the system, you may loosen the other joints. So I would hit them also, the connections, and any factory seams...

I just looked at my Prescott, I would remove the 4 bolts off the flange adapter. This will effectively separate the stove from the exhaust pipe. You can now pull the stove back as far as you need to get in there and remove the double walled stainless steal pipe from the flanged stove adapter. Your problem may be with the gasket between the stove and flanged adapter not between the adapter and the stainless double walled pipe.

I would apply silicon to the gap between inner and outer sections of the stove adapter. (gap area just out from the screw head) Had smoke escape from this area in the past and now silicon all of them before installation. Worth a try. Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone for all your help I think I might have solved my problem I goop it up really good waited about 2 hours fired it up didn't see any smoke and now wrapped up the pipe with foil tape ill keep you updated on the progress... thanks again I don't have it running great weather right now so I figured ill give it time to really dry up and let the tape stick
