On his way to Calverton National Cemetary, his last ride.

I opted to go down to the highway and pay my respects, and was not surprised to be not alone. Cars parking alongside of Route 25 for the drive from Coram to Calverton. People all along side of the road.

Cars from all the country in the procession, which lasted about 45 minutes. Patriot Guard Riders (there were alot of them, maybe 75 or so), Police from all over. It was quite an experience, and has left it's mark on me. I was crying, thinking about what all of this meant to Sgt Bonacasa's family.

This is a video put together by an officer in the procession. When you get to the True Value store, that's one of 2 major intersections in my town, and the fire department and all of the flags & fireman, is the department in this town, with help from many other departments.
