I had a chance to try some Stagg's hardwood pellets over the weekend. They're manufactured by Staggmeyer Stave Co., a company in southern Minnesota that makes barrel staves for wineries and distilleries. Oak is widely used in such applications, and I believe these pellets have a lot of oak content. They burned hot and clean. Dust and fines were minimal.

Stagg's distribution area looks pretty limited at the moment, within about 100 miles of LaCrosse, Wis. If you're in that neighborhood, buy with confidence.
