Having issues with my saw. Could anyone confirm there should be a conventional carburetor gasket between the carburetor and black rubber when installed? MS 290
 
Seems the MS 290 has a permanent rubber gasket that can position itself so it doesn't seal against the carb. If you re having running issues make sure the rubber gasket is proud of the metal ring to make a good seal.
