Hey guys! This is a first for me - I opened the door to my Harman P68 to scrape the ashes and the entire stove went into a shut down, all fans began to slow down. I’m guessing it was an airflow issue?

I shut it down and will see what happens once I do a good cleaning (which I did last weekend)

My guess is that it was:
  • A coincidence and it was getting ready to shut down anyway (you didn't mention your settings so have no idea how it is supposed to act).
  • You yanked the door open instead of giving the flame a second to settle before opening it fully
  • You left the door open longer than you thought so it went into a safety shut down
