Would like some suggestions on a decent set of chimney rods to be able to sweep the flex liner for my insert maintenance, the total length of the 4" liner is a little over 21'.

I plan on sweeping from the bottom up and standard 5' long rods I would think would difficult to manage in the firebox as its only about 2' high. I saw these 2.5' long pellet stove rods online, should these work appropriately for a liner?

Could I use a vent brush for a dryer vent that snakes up long enough like this one? The brush head is polymer which is what the liner manufacturer suggests to use and it's alot cheaper than having to use rods. Plus its all one continuous rod vs. having to connect sections, which from a security standpoint I would feel better about.

the lint eater works great.
tons of folks here use it.

the rods join together. tough and flexible. i have no problem cleaning my vent with a 90 degree elbow in it.
should be a lot more manageable than a single 20' section.
yeah, you have to tighten and tape the joints for security.

just saw you're looking at 21 feet of liner. you'd have to get the extension pack of extra rods.
the regular kit comes with 3 3' rods.

maybe that one you found is better for your set up.
though i feel pretty secure once i've taped the joints.
that's a precaution against if you somehow reverse the drill as you're sweeping.

the linteater rods are designed to fit in a drill chuck.
