Hello folks, I am Scott Nichols, the owner of Tarm USA, Inc., dba. Tarm Biomass. Given the long history of Froling, HS-Tarm, and Effecta boilers being discussed on this forum, I think it is appropriate to announce that we have sold our Froling boiler business to our long-time customer, Froling Energy in Keene, NH. We retained the business of selling HS-Tarm and Effecta spare parts and are now looking for a buyer of that spare parts and accessory business. If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested in the parts and accessory business, which is profitable and serving thousands of customers, please reach out.

Hello, do you know anyone/anywhere that may need parts or be interested in a HS Tarm 502 multi-fuel boiler? I am removing my boiler from service (after 37 years!) and was trying to connect with any owners or enthusiast who may want parts or the entire boiler. I'm removing it in the next few weeks, and would love to see parts or the entire boiler find a home. Thanks

I am using my Tarm MB 55 today to heat my house. I have been using it every year for 46 years now. I know many on this forum will call it a "Smoke Dragon", but it has been trouble free for all these years. The only thing I replaced was the Samson Draft Regulator thermal element for the draft control. I don't believe any boiler manufactured today will be able to be as maintenance/trouble free as the MB 55.
