I would just like to say thanks to everyone on this forum for helping me out with putting in our new Osburn. She is now cooking the place up like no tomorrow.

Nice looking insert for sure, wish I had one like that,
oh wait, I DO !!!!!

hahaha ... great unit, we are happy with ours, heats like no tomorrow as you said.

you ever got the air cut down on that, mine at that position puts fires out.
or at least runs is slowly all night but not heat in the morning.
we go about an 1 1/2" from the left max on closing the air.

Enjoys for sure.

I had 5 logs in ther last night at 10 PM nothing left in the morning at 6:10 AM, Damper shut down to a finger width open. Fan on low.

That seems like allot of logs to go through. At 10 pm I put in 1 or 2 good sized splits over a nice bed of glowing coals, close down damper and have small coals at 6:00am. House is fairly warm still. I am hesitant to put in more than 2 logs for fear of a meltdown while sleeping!
Nice pics! I hope to have mine that nice someday.
