Solved - a connection was loose that did not create a problem I crossed the wires -- but when it had to do the long run to the theromostat and back it was an issue -- Hi -- I have an older Heat-n-Glo gas fireplace. The thermostat will not turn it on. When I disconnect the thermostat and cross the wires going to the fireplace, it lights. The thermostat does click on when it his the desired temp. Testing the wire with ohm meter when the thermostat is on there is Zero resistance (when it is off there is no connectivity. I dont know what I am missing here. Thanks
