Finished splitting 5 bush cords of ash maple beech and oak. Just got to bring it into garage now

How does one measure a "bush cord"?? I have heard of this before seems like a term from the great white north.

If that’s this years wood, prob should have split it last year, at least. Especially the oak, two years minimum for that. Three if your able.

Beautiful! I didn't know y'all had oak trees up there. I have spent a lot of time in southern Ontario and northern BC, didn't see any oaks.
Saw moose and pine trees, and, of course, maple.

What type oak. Just looked up burr oak - range is all the way up north shores of hudson bay.
