I'd appreciate thoughts on thermoelectric fans. Are they best/easiest way to circulate warm air? Any recommendations?
Thanks,

Theres a bunch of threads in here about them... Maybe search stove top fan?
I think that they look super cool, I have 2 on our stove, they definitely move air, but not much.
I got both of mine from Amazon, they are great for the price, and still working maybe 5 years later?
I'm sure someone with some tech skills will eventually steer you towards some other threads...

The best way too circulate warm air is by blowing the colder air towards the stove (-room). It'll get replaced by the warmer air.

That said, these stove top fans are nice toys imo.
I have one and use it to see where in the burn cycle I am, visible from afar (especially for a black box burn of a cat stove), due to their speed being dependent on the stove top temperature.
Get one, be prepared it.may only be for fun.

I think they look good, but as far as circulating air in a room it's best to use blowers or fans that you plug in. I draw air from my main floor bedroom and blow it into my stoves distribution blower inlet in the basement. It's gets harder if you try to use a single fan in a room as you might make it worse.

I agree that these little suckers look cool and inspire comments from visitors but their actual effect on air movement in the room is almost nothing. I had one and it lasted 3-4 years before it died.
