I have a John Deere compact tractor with a backhoe. I'm looking to make an attachment to bolt on the backhoe so I can pull a small trailer with 1 7/8" ball. I'd like to do this so I don't have to remove the backhoe and frame..Anyone make one or seen one ?? Thanks

My neighbor has one on an older (circa 1950's) tractor. It is not 'homemade' and attaches to the 3-point hitch. My guess is that John Deere probably has a hitch that you could purchase or use as a template to manufacture. I could get you a picture in the next few days if you would like to see what it looks like. Let me know....

Let me re-phrase . I have a John Deere backhoe on my JD 2520 tractor. It mounts under with it's own frame the length of the tractor and hoses.. I'd like to leave it on and find an attachment to bolt onto the backhoe boom or bucket to pull a small trailer..

Couple bolts or pins and flat bar drill some holes on side of bucket

Talking light lawn trailer and slow speed only, correct?

Seems easy. What am i missing in your question?
