Turmans production date 7/13

Just want to warn whoever is burning Turmans dated 7/13 to be careful as a 5 inch piece of conveyor belt was in one of my bags. Like many here who open the bag and dump the bag in the hopper we do the same thing. Overnight the belt bridged the hopper causing no heat when we woke up.

Belt is 5 inches long, 2 inches wide at the widest.

You would think there would be a screen deck to allow the pellets to drop and everything else to pass by, You were very lucky.A phone call is in order i would think.

I paid premium $ for Turmans, date code also 7/13, and will not buy again. Many pellets were long, up to 2 1/2 ", a lot of fines in bag, and actually I was not impressed with the heat... good thing I didn't buy a ton..

I won't buy them again either. Paid "premium" cost for them just before the latest cold snap. Kept bridging the auger, stove going out. The heat was good but when it goes out, the heat isn't there at all.

Now I am going to speculate about your blue-green flecks. Could it be fragments of the metal belt lacing? For those that do not know lacing is what holds conveyor belts together.
