saw this stove in one of the condos I was looking around in the other day- it doesn't look like any of the stoves I know... It says "super series" on the door, which made me think Pacific Energy (one of their models is the "super 27", but it doesn't look like any of the PE's I've ever seen... it is an EPA stove w/ secondary burn tubes (with actual tubes, not the holes-in-the-baffle style of PE stoves) . I would guesstimate it's firebox size at around 2.5 cu ft.

Anyone recognize this stove?

Is that a boulder on the stove? I know the wife would have me lug that to bed so she could curl up near it on a cold night.

That is a super 27 I'm 99% sure. Aptly named, it's a super stove.

an older version of it, I assume, then? The current Super27's don't look the same as this one...possibly an early 90's model?

Looks like an old Super 25, the predecessor of the Super 27. We sold our last one of those critters back in 1986, so this one's got about a quarter century under its belt. Should be broken in by now.

Was hoping you would show up on this one.

Excellent info on the Super 25. I didnt even start selling the PE until 1987 or 88 I think (and those were foggy years for me).
