I am looking for some information on control panel LED error indicators

My stove starts up. The auger feeds pellets then the stove goes into what seems to be a stand by or protect mode. Lights 3 and 4 on the trim level light up red and flash. The on/off light stays green but stove does not start up. If I report the unit multiple times I do get a flame but unit goes into this stand by mode. Any ideas? Company says replace the controller but it's 220 bucks. They also didn't sound like they had a clue when I called for tech support. Thank you for your time

High Limit switch has tripped or malfunctioned. (page 9 https://wood-furnaces.net/5660bayfrontpelletstoveownersmanual.pdf) Unplug the stove and reset high limit - red button in center of switch (located inside cabinet on back wall of fire box). If it happens again, need to find cause of overtemp. Not sure what your cleaning routine is but fly ash insulates and internal passages/venting may be clogged. You can troubleshoot to determine if switch has failed... Let us know how you make out.

Actual switch so you know what you're looking for:

The hi temp relay is not tripped. I've bypassed the POF and vacuum and still same issue. The stove is super clean. Everything that can be cleaned is.

Checked all safety switches are contacting and functioning (hopper & door)? Unplugged the stove whenever working in cabinet? Tried jumpering around hi temp to troubleshoot (since you tried bypassing POF & vacuum)? By passing is only for troubleshooting and not to be run that way...

How many pellets feed - one turn of the auger or several? Combustion blower starts up? Igniter potentially shot? All of these can usually be checked with a multi-meter or a cord set up to connect to component to power directly.

Lights 3 & 4 are listed as high limit switch ... they can fail though. Even tightening too snug to the stove body can cause them to malfunction.

Rule out other potentials: Are you using a thermostat? If so, ensured connections and replaced batteries if it has them? Have you checked what mode it is set in? Stove surge protected?
