I have long driveway with some cracks. Don't want to use regular cold sealer anymore since it doesn't last long.

I want to use hot applied asphalt crack repair. Here is the one
http://www.lowes.com/pd/QPR-50-lb-Asphalt-Patch/3047782

The problem is it has to be applied with machine that melts it for $1000.

My plan is to put it in propane turkey pot, melt it and pour it in with some kind smaller pot with handle.

I know it can be flammable if over 400F, got to be careful. Anyone done it?

Those guys did it

Same concept , but more convenient and pricey I think .Gonna try this week and report back if someone inrested. It's much easier to apply cools stuff that sells at HD and such but it doesn't last more then year or two.
