Vacuum reading for 25-PDVC?

Hi Folks,

Going to bite the bullet and pick up a magnahelic vacuum gauge (or equivalent.) However, before doing that, I'd like to know if anyone knows what kind of reading is considered good for this stove (25-PDVC.) It won't do me much good if I don't know what's a good reading and what's a bad one!

That was an interesting thread you referenced , thank you Bob.

But if I was buying an instrument to ensure my stove was working properly , I would indulge in a flow meter for the input air. This can not be correct if the vacuum in the exhaust is incorrect , and you can ensure the flow is in linear proportion to the pellets consumed.

The calibration might be complex , but the results would be definitive.
Maybe this is why many stove manufacturers use this method.
