For ISeeDeadBTUs some Alpine pictures

In our younger days, we used to wilderness backpack and this was part of a four day route hike. The route took us over a ridge above the community of Woss which is under the fog. The view of the fog and sunrise is looking east. The top of this ridge is covered in small pothole lakes which are great for a quick dip before bed.

Simply gorgeous! What kind of altitude range on that loop?

Too bad it's so far away.

Altitude max 5400 ' , the picture of the bigger pond 3500' . The route followed three connecting ridges ,dropping down to 2500' between two of these ridges. At the highest point you could see the Pacific to the West and Queen Charlotte Strait to the North East. Very few people know this little jewel exists .

Nice Allan. Looks beautiful. Thanks for showing it to us.

Sheba didn't know how to swim when we got her but it didn't take long for her to learn. You are right. She was always the first one in when we got to a pond.
