I have my woodstock fireview the recommended 12" from a combustible wall (placed caddy corner) with rear and chimney heat shields installed however I find the wall to the immediate left and right side of the stove to be so hot I cannot even touch it without some discomfort. Is this amount of heat on a sheet rock over wood stud wall safe?
If not can someone recommend where I may find a nice looking piece of sheet metal to make a heat shield with?
Thank you,
Jim
