What kind of stove do you have? I have an accentra insert and just installed 3 weeks ago.I just emailed the company to see if I need this.From what I can tell it is a dryer vent mounted to the outside of the house and feeds outside air to your stove.Some say this cuts down on drafts in your home becuase the stove without an oak pulls air from all the cracks and windows in home and creates a draft.I will post when I get more info.I am from Norther NJ and its been very cold this winter !
