What is/was your total snowfall for winter?

Hi guys

I was just curious: what was your total snowfall for the winter? Or for those who winter is still hanging around, what is your total snowfall to date?

So far we have received 434cm, 170.5 inches. They are forecasting another 25-40 cm for this afternoon/tonight/tomorrow. We may reach a total snowfall of 500cm in the next 2 weeks.

I guess I'll see tulips in July.

We seem to be around 70", not bad for spitting distance from the Mason-Dixon line. Just short of the all-time record.

I've still got a pile next to my driveway.

I really have no idea. Once the first batch hits the ground and sticks around I pay no attention to the tally. It doesn't matter, it's here and it will melt. But I will say this: it's unusual for us to have as much snow on the ground at the beginning of April... usually it's pretty well gone by now (except for high snowbanks). We still have parts of the yard that have a solid 6-8" on them. It's retreating quickly, but still... . And I've seen more than a few major snowstorms in April to believe it's really over. April 15 is my official end of snow threat date.

I have over 3 feet on the ground. Some places there's 5.

Looks like we're between 80 and 90 inches which is a lot for this area as we are nowhere near the snow belt.

Season total at a local ski hill shows 113". That's a lot for here, and made worse by cold temps....so while it often (in past winters) went away for periods of a week or two, it stayed this year. My yard is still about 3/4 covered, but I'm north facing.

The big talk around here is for people who will try to build a house this spring/summer: the ground wont be dry until end of May, early june at this rate!

I heard we are over 150" here in Holland, Michigan. Normally we get 70" a year. So yeah we got hammered this year.
We are in the lake effect snow belt. I bet I will still have piles in mid May.

On Saturday night the forecast for yesterday was 5cm. Then yesterday morning the forecast was 30-40. Well, by midnight we had already received 19cm and since then about another 10 and they are forecasting another 5-15.
I can't wait to see how many flies we will have with the big pools of stagnant water due to the melt...ugh.
I gotta go clean the driveway so I can go to work

Wow. That is quite a bit of snow. I hope that there's no rain in the forecast. If so, something tells me the roof may cave in..

On another note, here are some pics of my current snow situation. As a reference, I used my son. LOL. He is 3.5 feet tall. Pictures were taken this evening after cleaning up our 14 inches...

In the back yard I have shoveled my roof 3 times so far and removed the snow along the house twice (via backhoe). Nobody else can say they will be making snowmen on the 4th of July.

I have just about 40" which is about triple our average. BWI avg is about 20". (One need not travel very far westward in central MD/VA to double the snow totals from most storms)
