Feeling the Heat

I found a used Englanger nc13 for $500. Looked new. Owner claimed it was used a couple times. He realized it was too small to heat his building. I know Lowes clearance prices these at $599. What would you pay?

Personally I would offer four and if he stood firm I would pay the five. I am looking for one. The crap shoot of hoping to find one on clearance eats a lot of time not being warm and hoping to be there in time to get a clearance stove.

New gets the tax credit, used does not? Then again, used dodges the sales tax, new does not.

Missing the day of the clearance sale and you go without.
If you're the bargaining type, bargain.
If not, it would be worth $500.
