I want to hook into my existing gas boiler with a plate heat exchanger and would like to hook into my DHW. And use an anti scald valve. Do I hook into the return or supply of the gas boiler. Does any one have a diagram
Pretty sure you hook into the supply so the aquastat in the gas boiler keeps it from coming on unless the fire is low or out in the outdoor furnace - but I'd check with a plumber to be certain. I attached a side-arm exchanger to my existing hot water heater to get my DHW off the furnace.
