I installed a not heavy-duty 15-foot double-wall chimney pipe during my initial installation due to a lack of experience. I burn hot, so just creosote flakes usually appear on the wall. Am I better off using softer medium-duty poly bristle instead of stiffer heavy-duty to prolong the life of the liner?
