Whitfield auto igniting system

I have a Whitfield Quest Pellet Stove and the timer in the auto ignite system is broken. I have replaced the igniter cartridge, and it still does not work. I am told by the dealer doing the service that the part is not available. Is there any place I can get the part? Other suggestions?

Trying to figure out what you mean by "relaxed"? May have to go to manual ignition. The one to ask is "Stovensen" an electronics tech from Denmark that has knowledge of the Whits electrical workings and owner so try a PM to him

Sorry. That was "replaced". Auto correct keeps trying to change it to relaxed again.
I was hoping to find a part so I don't have to go to manual ignition, as I did last spring.

The stove was made over 20 years ago and the company was sold to Lennox and didn't do the line any favors.
I have one in manual start.

Our is from March 2000.
We bought it because of the quality family business at that time.
I guess we will be lighting it ourselves.
It's just a mess every time you open the front.

I hate to recommend them as I've not been happy with their customer service recently, but Mountain View Hearth Products formerly carried these. You can Google them to get the URL, but I think it's stove-parts-unlimited dot com. BTW, if anyone has a suggestion for other parts suppliers, I'm all ears.

I just checked out their website. They have the entire kit which includes the igniter that I already bought. I will call them tomorrow to see if it is possible to get just what I need. I'm already $300. into this and it still doesn't work.

We have had it for almost 16 years and I'm spoiled. It is a bit of a mess to open the front to light it, as we don't run it all the time.

Happy to help. If you don't mind, can you ask them if they've had a change in ownership in the past year or so? I think they moved their location, and I wonder if the company changed hands. I've no idea, but hopefully they can get you squared away.

I was told that they sold out to Lennox some years back.

Thanks. But no, I don't mean Whitfield (they did sell out to Lennox). I mean the parts dealer...
