Hi,

My profile is not burning right, when you are looking at the front of the stove the right side of the burn pot is not burning as hot as the left side. I cleared all holes in the burn pot but every morning the pot is full of ask and klinkers. During the day I can see the right side has more pellets that are burning slower and after a while I think that is what is causing it to build up over night, I have it set on the second feed setting for pellets. Any ides for what I can try, getting tired of cleaning it everyday.

What kind of flame. If you have a dirty stove in back, the flame will be lazy and it won't burn the pellets right.

Welcome to the forum! How long have you had the stove?

page 24 of the manual deals with the ash traps (broken link removed to http://www.mortonsstoves.com/wp-content/uploads/Profile.pdf)
Not sure of the exact pathway of internal exhaust on the profiles but a dryer lint brush (some use bottle brushes depending on stove) and a small tube attached to vacuum will help clean out that area. I usually brush three separate times, vacuuming between brushing, before ash stops dropping.

For overall performance, when was the last time the combustion blower was cleaned? Get your replacement gaskets first. Exhaust venting cleaning?

This is my first burn season with this stove, I don't know any history about it. I did notice that they only had 1/2" door gasket so I replaced it with 3/4" as the manual called for, it's been running all day and I don't see a build up yet but I do notice the door glass is getting dark now, I have the damper opened to full open, the fire is bright and the pellets are dancing in the burn pot.

The cleaning noted above including pulling the combustion blower (get gasket) and venting brushing may help. Usually do a deep clean after every ton burned. Not sure on the air wash on the profiles. Sometimes the window or door gaskets have gaps to allow some air to be pulled in to travel over the glass (may be mentioned in manual). Glass does get build-up from burning but you don't want creosote formation ... black substance that can be sticky or shiny depending on temps.

I don't think the damper is generally open that far YMMV.
