I purchased this stove a few days ago, I'm having issues finding the adapter that goes from the exhaust blower to the 3" pipe I'm going to use. I've been to 3 local stores that carry Whitfield parts and they have no clue what I'm looking for......even with pictures?


As you can see, it's a rectangle opening on the exhaust blower but needs to attach to a 3" pipe........ I'm in need of locating the adapter that goes here, can anyone help me?

This is a piece that comes with the blower. Dont know if they are sold separate.

I would definitely take some compressed air and blow that motor out and oil it (Well).

Does the blower still turn well? Bearings still good (bushings)?

The blower turns just fine, the picture makes it look worse than it actually is due to the flash on my phone........I'm in the process of cleaning the entire internal workings of the stove, I had it running outside just the other day to make sure it all worked as the guy I purchased it from said the auger motor was bad, once I cleaned out the auger shaft and put it back together everything seems to work great.
I have seen multiple sites that have the replacement blowers but none have the adapter piece I'm looking for in the pictures with the blower?

I dont have that stove but did some research and honestly couldn't find any flange or conversion to change from the rectangle to a 3 inch pipe i tried to look up your service manual l but again nothing helped. I can find the blower but nothing on venting ill keep looking and good luck

I have the same stove and looking behind it there is an adapter that is missing in your picture. As you stated the stove end of the adapter is square and the vent side is round. This adapter is a separate piece and screws onto both the stove and the vent.

Have you tried calling Lennox direclty? When I had some trouble with my Quest the support I received for such an old stove was great. The number I have for Lennox is 1-800953 - 6669; I spoke to Scott , some of the other technicians don't know the older stoves.

If needed I can point you to the dealer where I purchased my from; I don't know if they have the part, but they are very familiar with the Quest.

I will ad my stove is a mid 90's vintage and is running great. The stove burns better when it is clean and it picky about the pellets it burns. It is a simple stove and should last a long time with much dollars.

Thanks Rick and Glenc0322, I'll call Lennox directly and ask for Scott, as my local dealer seems to know nothing about the vintage stoves.
If this doesn't work, I would like your dealers number so I could talk to them.

love to give you my dealer but i live on longisland not sure where you live and my dealer sells harmans. I looked again last night online and nothing if rick could post a picture of the adapter that would help thanks. Ill ask around for you. Good luck

I live on the west coast, in Oregon. I called Lennox today and they can't even find the part in their books. I tried to talk to Scott but he was busy so I talked to Bobby, I could tell all he did was look thru a book. I asked him to talk to Scott about what I was after and I'm supposed to get an email tomorrow with something, hopefully it's an answer......

What you are looking for is called a snout. It would have been sold with the blower and is not a seperate part.
