Hey all new to this forum so be nice lol. I just bought a new house that came with the Winslow installed. I've burnt wood for yrs so these computerized pellet stoves are a whole new animal to me. Here's my issue and I've searched the www and haven't found a solution and talked to an iron strike dealer (100 miles away) and got no help. 1st off my igniter burns red but doesn't fire the stove so I light it manually. The stove burns well but after 15 minutes or as long as an hour it just stops feeding and goes out. If I push the start button before it goes out it loads some pellets and takes off. I woke up today and had half a burn pot full of pellets so it's obviously loading pellets after its out. The igniting light flashes the whole time but never stops and I get the blinking red code that points to a bad igniter among other things, I've cleaned all the switches as well as all the flu passages but don't wanna just start throwing money at parts and not having a dealer for miles is kind of a pita. Any help is appreciated.

Ignitor glows red but pellets don`t ignite? It is not the actual ignitor that lights the pellets but the superheated air that moves by into the burn pot. Does the convection blower come on? Once burning, what are the flame characteristics? There is an adjustable draft on this stove so that may need to be changed depending on the pellet used.
Have you tried the dollar bill test on the gaskets (close front door on bill or paper and try to remove it, slides out easily you need to replace door gasket). Made sure the internal exhaust passages are clean? Two clean outs (get gaskets first) on each side need to be opened. I use a dryer lint brush and attach a flexible hose extension to my shop vac with drywall bag. Just make sure ash is cold...
Same with removing combustion blower - get gasket first, clean off with soft paint brush and vac fly ash. Clean out connector box too. Vacuum or used compressed air to blow out motor windings. Not sure if these motors need oiling ... some do, others no. I would suspect your proof of fire snap disc is the culprit with it not staying lit (page 23). $42 +/- to replace. You can try cleaning it but it never hurts to have a spare POF. You might want to check the that the vacuum switch port is clear and the line to the switch is not cracked or broken since your in there but it is on the side with the room blower.
PS ... Always unplug when working on the stove. Keep us posted!

The igniter may need to be aleigned or the burn pot may be in backwards or not pushed back far enough
Need more help if possible. Just recently after a really crappy bag of pellets the auger started making a clunky sound. Almost like some one is tapping the back of the stove every time it engages to feed the pellets. I've cleaned out the hopper and I don't see anything bound up although the cheat rivers literally had pieces of wood resembling broken tooth picks. This thing will be a mofo to uninstall and swap out the motor so is there any way around it? According to the manual this auger and combustion fan never need greasing but would it hurt anything to use some turbine oil on the auger itself? The noise isn't horrible but instead of being intermittent it's become constant and driving me nuts.

Try sticking a wire coat hanger into the auger flights to see if you can dislodge whatever may be plugging the works. Wire is easily shaped to screw its way back into the unit. Powdered graphite is a great auger treatment. Good luck

Might want to try another brand of pellets to see if it is just the batch of pellets. If that seems to be the source of the issue, mixing with another brand may make operation quieter and easier on the auger...
no doubt lake girl. I have only owned this house for about a year and have mostly ran pro pellet and sommersets along with a few bags of easy heats and no issues till now. After taking advice I fished out what appeared to be shards of wood and a small piece of hardwood,,maybe flooring? This stove has been a workhorse and while some have filtered out dust I've never done it and never had issues. Live and learn I guess. I'm honestly amazed the auger was able to even turn at all. Either way thanks for the help and its up and running fine again.
