It is a proprietary blend of different species, they dont really give specifics must be a trade secret! We have been using Indek for four years with pretty good luck. Its kinda funny when you read these forums that some people swear by one brand or another, it almost becomes a Ford vs Chevy kinda argument. I guess a person just needs to experiment a little to see what works for them. Personally I think it depends on the brand of stove they have and how the exhaust is set up.
