I found these at Bass Pro "in store" last night on sale for 39.95...........lots of them left, regular price is about $90.00 (employee said they were marked down). Worth mentioning in case they are in your store.
These seem to be quality and can be set to use channels "8 through 14", so no FCC license is needed. These are 22 channel radios, the other channels reqire FCC license.
You may want to call your local store before making the trip.These would be great for woods trips for wood cutting or just family outings........and man they come with everything you need including weather, weather alert, AC-DC chargers and ear buds !
