12/9 went through 3/4 of a ton before emptying the ash pan on a Harman P43. Heat is still comparable, probably less than a premium brand but at $100-$150+ less per ton, i'll put on a pair of socks. 11/7 have gone through a dozen or so bags. Maybe to change from my previous opinion these may burn a little faster than branded bags of lignetics from last year. Maybe 1 or 2 hours less burn time barely worth mentioning but not to deny anything. I will confirm they do cloud/collect on the window a lot faster than lignetics from last year. Temps are still comparable, same for ash maybe an inch in the pan after the dozen or so bags. The window could just be I need to get specific cleaner for the window, instead of a damp paper towel to clean off the creosote from the window to collect on. I did not purchase any lignetics this year to compare, I will make an effort to do so just for comparison as most of us on here are probably bored in the winter with nothing better to do. Still VERY happy to only spend $160 a ton. 10/25 11pm- down to 37* outside, have the stove on lowest settings and 74 in our house. 900sq sf ~100 year old house. Would expect the same temps with lignetics. Wife even woke up and complained it was too hot. Very happy to save $100 and see the same results. Would recommend as a low budget pellet. I’ll try to remember to update once we actually do enter winter and see some actually cold weather with snow on the ground. As comparison I would get about 20 hours on a bag of lignetics in this same tempature outside and this temp inside. EDIT - 10/25 Burned a bag today, Ignited just fine, burning good. Will have a better idea tonight as we are supposed to drop into the 30's. TSC has what I am assuming are rebagged Lignetics for $159.50 a ton. White bag blue label, just says hardwood pellets, however on the overwrap I found a shipping label that says it is from Lignetics. I just got my 2nd ton and there was still a decent amount left. A friends son works there said this is not a sale price, but what he was told should be all year long. I am not going to wait to find out. Haven't burned any but they look like typical lignetics. I don't expect them to be great but for $100 less than the next ton, can't complain too much.
