My XXV is acting up. I changed the feed rate from 3.5 to 3,and the blower started to go low and then ramp up. I turned the knob and it seemed to settle. But now if the temp is satisfied, the flame will get low,and the the fan will start fluctuating hi and low. Stove has been cleaned, esp cleaned. Do you think the control board could be bad. It’s 14 yrs.old. Thanks.

Sounds like one of the three blue 100K ohm potentiometer are dirty or developing bad spots. Sometimes sweeping them full left then full right and finally back to desired position will help clear up erratic operation, or using electrical cleaner on them while off the stove will work. They can be replaced independent of a new control board.
