I used all the money in my savings for my Fireview and that money was for a tropical island trip for my wife and I. We have been married for 20 years 4 days ago and we have never been on our honeymoon, after a lot of talks we decided to postpone the trip until next year and be warm this winter. She's happy with the decision and we all know that's all that matters! (Happy wife, happy life!) I was really hoping the stove wasn't going to be a flop, my best purchase so far!
Bet the Fireview makes you feel like your on that tropical Island anyways;)

Hahahaha! You're absolutely right charly! I'm seriously considering throwing some sand on the living room floor, sitting in some beach chairs and maybe have the kids serve us rum drinks of some sort........ ;)

You'd be wise to bring your smiling bride a vase of roses and take her to dinner! I've been married 20 years also. I gotta wonder... stove- or vacation. stove - or vacation. hm!
Will a little blue pill taste better than a big blue stove? I do know some brides that would be happy to help their mate swallow either one.;lol

Ya, we've been together for a while now. Maybe this marriage will work out after all?! Thanks Ray.

Im getting more and more excited about this stove I cant wait to get it. Thanks for all the feedback sounds like Im going to be dropping my electric bill pretty dramatically here pretty soon.==c

Matt,
So many replies and good wishes on your new Fireview! Mine is on order (layaway actually) so I still have to wait for awhile. Do you have photos for the forum? You might find this funny. I have made cardboard mockups of the Fireview and the hearth that I plan on building. We put them in the area where the stove will be located. Now we are figuring out patterns and color for the tile on the hearth. We can't wait either, but may not make it this heating season. It's OK though, I'm pretty sure it will be worth the wait.
Take care,
Tim

Wow, that's awesome Dennis! You both should be truly proud and I mean that, that's almost unheard of nowadays! Hell the only two couples in our family and circle of friends are still married, one is my parents and we are the second! o_O

Ill put some photos up as soon as I get it all installed. I hope your able to get yours soon too!

Matt, I also apologize as it appears we were taking this thread in a different direction than planned. Thanks to Tim for getting it back on line.

Tim, I have no idea why anyone would think that is funny. Just a very logical thing to do!

Ok Dennis,
I'm going to give you all a good laugh. My daughter did this and said "Do you feel warmer now?" Gave us all a chuckle.
Take care,
Tim

Tim thats great I didnt put anywhere near as much thought into mine. I just threw a big box in front of the fireplace and pretended there was a roaring fire in it.

Congrats on the Fireview. We are starting the 4th season with ours. Still loving it. Also happy to know that I can call Woodstock any day and get somebody on the phone that can help me with anything and may even remember me from the two times my wife and I were there. The stove easily carried us through 14 days of no heat due to Hurricane sandy while neighbors froze.
