I am from northern Indiana and cant pin point what brand stove this is. I received it from the in-laws who used it in the 90's to heat there house. Has temp controlled blower on bottom to force air around chamber that wood is burning in. 6 inch exhaust and 10 inch opening on top for heat to blow out. Does a great job! Any help would be great!! Thanks everyone!

More chance of that one being homemade or a few of a kind. In 35 years in the business, I never saw one exactly like that and the lack of a cast door or labels or names on it spells homemade....by homemade, that means it still could have been professionally built by a welder or fab shop, just never sold as a brand.

I have seen a few on local Craigslist for sale the last few years. None of them owners ever stated what or where they are from. This thing is great on the heat output! I assume they might be a small production of them at a welder shop or something. Thanks!

Looks like a wood furnace without the duct work. Does that gadget on the side control the blower?

You are correct. When a certain temp is reached the blower on the bottom kicks on, blowing the hot air out the top. I didn't have duct work on at time of picture. It now has a 10" 90 degree elbow on it to control direction of air. It's plenty hot and I don't think I need to plum it into my house duct work at this time.

So this thing did great all winter. We had some record cold temps for weeks and the house never dropped below 68 degrees. Normally our house has been around 74. I did find out a little more about it. That some guy made some out of his shop in Lakeville, IN. Pretty close to where I live in fact. It was an older gentleman at the time and is believed to not be around or doing that business any more. If anyone knows more I would still be grateful... Have a great summer everyone...
