a day or two ago someone posted a picture of an indoor wood storage rack. i'll be d***** if i can find it!! can anyone help? thanks

I posted a picture of my stove and on the side I had a small indoor storage rack that came with firplace tools (poker, shovel and broom).
I purchased it at Lowes. Paid about $40 I believe. Holds at least day of wood for me.

thanks,bo. the one i am looking for the guy built. it's a simple rack, but i need to know the position of the uprights and the top crosspiece. art

not it,wetwood, but thanks for the try! i went ahead yesterday and slapped one together near my yukon in tha basement. looks good and keeps my floor area clean. art

Here's how I build my racks. One is a kindling rack. I have three larger ones for the bigger stuff. They're in the back of the front stack. I ran out of racks.

miser- great looking racks! i'll be off to the lumberyard in an hour to get wood for your kindling rack. great footprint-will fit my basement nicely. the one i cobbled together can't hold a candle to yours! thanks. art

Thanks. Take note at the bottom of the rack there is a 2x4 on the inside sandwiching the verticals. I got the idea from someone here. I c-clamped the two short pieces against the verticals. plumbed them vertical and then put the final screws in the sides.

I think my short pieces are 11" long after the side pieces are added it ends up being 14" wide.

On edit, I used this video except I put the verticals in sideways compared to the way he did them I get more room in between for wood.
