Towards the end of last season I noticed the "ole gray mare" aint what she used to be. It doesnt take a fine eye to see the problem. I closed her up at the end of the season and just now got the gumption to open it back up and sure enough its still there. So this problem obviously isnt going away on its on like when my ole lady used to get pregnant all the time. I guess I'll actually have to do something. Im debating on fixing her up or going with a new stove. Whats the latest and greatest in wood burinng these days? Did the tertiary burn stoves work out for anyone last year? Oh and is that one dude still around...what was his name, Bartholemew or something like that.

Looks like a hot cat box needs repair.

Looks like you may be able to replace that baffle plate? Try contacting Energy King, lots of good folks there that should be able to hook you up with the right parts.

You guys are both right. the cracked enclosure the holds the cats is a replaceable item, so I will probably just replace it since I already have the new cats for it. If I open it up and find more problems I might just 86 the whole thing. We shall see.

Still here. Welcome back.

Man that is one clogged cat.

Not sure which model you have but here is the parts list for the bay2000 model:
http://www.energyking.com/download-pdfs/EK_2500C_Bay2000C_Parts.pdf

Looks like you will need:
4‐CAT‐CATHLDRASSY Catalyst Holder Assembly

I would repair it and keep on burning with that same insert unless you find major issues.

Also ask them if they have a flame impingement protector for your cats now.

They do make a flame screen, I laready have a new one but it didnt fit because the box was too far warped. I will just buy a new box and get this one up and going again. Thanks
