Judging from your sig, Smokey, I would think you would be on the prowl for another mother load pellet infusion....Don't pay a lot of attention to the Wooly Bears unless they are native ones, a couple years ago they told me a big fib, turns out they were from away.
Our apples are just about ripe - much earlier than usual.
I'm fed up with my Simplicity snow blower, have been looking at Husqvarna tracked blowers. The Ariens dealer doesn't stock them, as they don't sell many. They don't sell many because they don't stock them. Catch 22 there.
Pellet stash is only 3 bags - gotta get busy, but waiting for (hopefully!) prices to drop. But, stove is cleaned and painted and ready to go.
Wow I thought simplicity's were top of the line. I have a cub cadet now and not overly impressed with it. Walk behind snowblowers quality have gone downhil from what they once were hard to find a machine with cast iron gearbox and heavy duty components

Ahhh, What happens if you can understand a mainiac, But your from away?
True, but you burn 5 tons a year!! You'll be approaching the danger zone by the end of the season....7 tons plus should be able to handle the load. Besides I'm going to do a bit of work in a couple of spots that should work on that ole heat loss figure.

I've got two hs928's one tracked and one with wheels -- best snowblowers ever made2 words: Honda/ Expensive
But they run really well ! I have the 28" track model. That thing will climb a mountain and the hydro drive is the balls ! If you look at them, dont think about the electric starter-you dont need it.

As for the danger zone I crossed that when I went below 10 ton and developed the shakes .
New sheer bolts in the snow blower and the oil has been changed.
