PC45 igniter question

There is a rebuild kit for the pump! Another member used an aquarium pump for a replacement when it failed for very cheap and he services and sells stoves for a living. $140 seems a bit high too.

Want to try used?, Ebay has the igniters for $30 delivered

Last time I looked the igniter was about $80. Common item for plastic molding. Good to have heat again. Should practice manual starting

Pressure igniters on the 45's run around $200 to my knowledge. Bio where are you finding them for less? Or are you thinking the finned ones for the other P series? I've looked in Graingers but can't find a Tempo that matches.

I had a new one in my kit and its a Farnam heat torch, HTM050-400-120-3/8F-NF(018) and that is what I had looked up late last summer. May have been like Amazon, prices going up and down to land who knows where. Been watching prices there on a couple items and can be almost 100% swing.

Thanks Bio, found the web site, now to find a retailer. Also do you have a part number on the air pump rebuild kit, I keep getting that they don't stock them anymore. I figure the fish tank bubbler will work if I ever need another one.

Once one is into the main season turning the stove to manual saves on the igniter-pump system. Probably the amount you would save in pellets was lost by all the cycling of the ignition system and now the replacement of it. Learning curve. Now is she going to change her burning practice?

Which stove?

The shop Hestia. Got a good deal on it and now will have to pay a bit more but the company is reasonable about part prices and still in budget and it saved me about $70 over propain last month. Risk of buying used. It can burn pellets at a 1 pound per hour rate and has a huge fan to circulate. Just trying to keep the shop from freezing up with this being one of the coldest top ten Decembers. $135 for the board, 27 for the exhaust probe. If it was the Elena we would be moving to the basement till this next polar blast is over. Supposed to be below zero for five days. Next project, why the fridge is freezing up. At least have no problem keeping things cold
