I just got a pellet stove love it but house is dry should i use a steam pot like a wood stove?

Pellet stoves dont radiate much heat. You'll find that the pot won't do you much good. What pellet stove do you have?

You would probably need several gallons of water a day to make a noticeable difference in humidity. Those little kettles are more for decoration (or aroma).
Does your stove have an Outside Air Kit? If not, the stove is sucking moisture out of the room.
I have a Harman p43. And that's what I thought about with the radiant heat of the stove not being high enough to steam the water. Thanks!

P68 does just fine at steaming the water. I have to refill my cast iron pot twice a day. Depends on the stove I suppose. The top of my stove will instantly vaporize water dropped on it....very hot.
