Hey everybody. I'm a total pellet noob. I self-installed my Harman P43 on Feb 13 and discovered this forum the next day. I've been constantly reading old topics ever since and I just want to say you guys and gals seem like the nicest bunch of people. Anyways....I'm loving this stove! I just woke up to -8 outside and 73 inside on the first floor and 67 in the bedrooms on the second floor of my 2 story 1500 square foot 1929 drafty house! I'm running room temp manual. I am just so impressed how the stove does NOT care how cold it is outside. It just keeps pumping out the heat keeping us nice and toasty inside!

That's all for now, I just wanted to drop in and say hello. I'm not planning on any problems, but you guys have certainly given me some confidence to solve them if I do.

Welcome! I am mostly a lurker here but I can say for sure that this is a well run site. You will rarely see flaming here. Just go through the posts and you will find some great information.

Just a little tip, keep that stove clean and it will continue to keep your house nice and warm. They're a little like having a wife, if you neglect it you will find things a little cool around the house:)
LOL! Just did my 2nd cleaning this afternoon!

Welcome to the chat. What are you burning?

Welcome to the chat. What are you burning?
Burning Energex Hard/Soft mix. I bought a ton from my local Harman dealer when I bought the stove. He delivered them for $255. They burn good but seem to make a lot of ash, but I don't really have anything else to compare yet. He also stocks Cubex hardwoods and something else in a softwood(can't remember the name). I think on Monday I'm gonna grab 5 or 6 bags of each of those to try them out.

Welcome.....But........

No Pics or it didn't happen, :)

Lets see your install
