Avalon APG free standing stove question

Local dealer has one. Will be heating about 2,000 sq ft We live in Albany NY area.
Any good? other recommendations? Any thing to be worried about with that stove?

I am on my 3rd season with the Lopi AGP. I really like mine, the only issue I've had (and a few others here as well) is that some of the early snap-discs were not strong enough and would jam. Dealer replaced mine under warranty without issue, and Lopi restarted the warranty for the unit from the replacement date.

Thanks..I read through all your posts. I would assume that by now 9/2014 this should be rectified. Where do I find the manufacture date? Under the hopper lid?
