Can I get an ID on this wood, wood id 007.JPG wood id 008.JPG it will be split and stacked tomorrow, would it be ready in a year. Thank you for any hellp.

It might take more than a year to dry, I split it small. About 4". Bigger will mostly take longer. The size of your splits is your choice and your stove requirements.
Hickory is very dense, if you need it in a year give it your best efforts. Like a prime spot on a covered porch.

Ain't going to be ready in a year. Hickory is equal to Oak in drying time.

In NY state it probably isn't Pecan, but it is Hickory of some kind. The type of hickory doesn't really make a difference - the wood of all hickories is about the same.

Bark and leaves most closely resemble Pecan, which has already been pointed out is in the hickory family.
