This is my first post and maybe my first stove. I have a Dealer that quoted me a price on 1500 for a floor model Classic Bay 1200 insert. Sorry but this so far is all the info I have. I was wondering what I might need to look for in this stove that may be a few years old. is there any updates back to a certain year that I should be aware of, any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

In general it's used inconsistently and maybe maintained regularly. I'd start at half msrp personally because anything that sits has potential to corrode etc. Listen to the motors for any odd noises and take the firebrick out to see if they have cleaned it ever.
